Coming from a humanities background, I bring a unique perspective to medical education and research. I'm thrilled about the opportunities that Duke-NUS offers. I want to get into cardiothoracic and vascular surgery because I’m fascinated by the intelligent design of the heart. Through procedures like heart transplants, I can save lives and extend patients’ time with their loved ones. Coming from a lower middle-class family in India and with the huge currency difference, I am very grateful for the Dhun Nargolwala Bursary in helping me with my living expenses.
